1. Coyote Point Recreation Area

The Coyote Point Recreation Area features many fun things to do. Residents can enjoy picnicking, swimming, windsurfing, bicycling, jogging, fishing, boating and sailing. Kids love the giant castle and dragon themed Magic Mountain Playground. Several events such as Movies in the Park are hosted here.

 

2. Junipero Serra Park

Junipero Serra Park features trails, jungle gyms and picnic areas. This wooded park has gorgeous landscapes of El Zanjon Creek and spring wildflowers. You can also see views of San Bruno Mountain and Mount Diablo. It’s a peaceful retreat away from the urban lifestyle.

3. Quarry Park

Another great park is Quarry Park in El Granada. It’s located 4 miles north of Half Moon Bay’s Historic District. It has two playgrounds, one for ages 1 to 5 and ages 5 to 12. The Vista Point Trail is 1-mile it goes through a eucalyptus forest with views of the Pacific Ocean.
